Front Desk Clerk/Office Assistant
The City of Monticello is seeking
a self-motivated individual with a high degree of professionalism and integrity
to perform administrative, secretarial and accounting functions.
High School graduate or equivalent, plus two
years of specialized training in general office practice is preferred.
Must be bondable.
Good command of English language; effective
Ability to research, understand, and apply State
laws, City codes and regulations.
Computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft
Office, including word processing and spread-sheets.
Organizational and time-management skills
Schedule: Part time position;
requires attendance at some after-hours meetings and out-of-town travel for
Wage/Benefits: Hourly wages commensurate
with experience. This is not a benefitted position.
