Warm Weather Activities
With summer temperatures rarely exceeding 85 degrees, Monticello is the ideal place to spend your summer days. Golf at The Hideout Golf Club, or enjoy the many beautiful designated trails for back packing, hiking, four-wheeling and horseback riding in the Abajo Mountains. Choose to camp at one of our several campgrounds and spend time seeing the sites of the area. Mountain biking, rock climbing, canoeing, and swimming are among the many other fun activities in Monticello.

Winters in Monticello are usually cold, but exciting. There is always something fun to do whether it is cross country skiing or snowmobiling. Wildlife is abundant in Monticello making it one of the greatest places in America to hunt.
