Field Mower
Donated by June Pehrson Son, Dale Pehrson. This piece is the McCormick --Deering No. 7 Field Mower; Manufactured between 1929-1939.
This mower replaced the "sickle mower" of the 1800's with its 5 to 6-foot bar of "finger blades" to cut hay.
Our piece has a wooden box around the blade bar for safety purposes.
