This is false: Charges will not be removed simply because you're not using your secondary water. If you have a secondary meter installed, you will be charged the $20.00 monthly fee regardless of whether or not the water is being used.

The only way to stop these charges is to have your secondary meter physically removed. Please note that if you choose to reinstall the meter in the future, you will be responsible for the full cost of replacement.

Secondary water service runs seasonally from April through October.
