Water System Update for Monticello Residents

San Juan County has reported that some areas of the county are experiencing drinking water contamination concerns due to recent and ongoing flooding.

At this time, Monticello City is not experiencing any contamination issues within our municipal water system or utility infrastructure. Our water system continues to operate normally, and there is no need for residents to take any additional precautions.

Should a water quality issue or other emergency situation arise, Monticello City will notify residents promptly through the emergency notification method they have selected. Information will also be posted through the following official channels:
