Monticello is situated in Southeastern Utah. At 7,000 feet, the seasons are spectacular, with cool summers, colorful falls, and snow-covered winters. The Welcome Center is located in the Four Corners Area in Utah. Colorado and New Mexico. Located on the Colorado Plateau, Monticello's stunning vistas overlook some of the most beautiful scenery in the world, including twelve national parks and monuments surrounding the town, providing visitors with one fantastic experience after another. 

Monticello is a small community with a big playground. Visitors have a chance to step back in time with our museum, view one of the last operating Big 4 Tractors in the nation, revel in local goods from the Locals' Corner, and access a wealth of information about San Juan County. Our knowledgeable staff are passionate about sharing their favorite experiences and local attractions in Monticello. They provide insights on the best trails, rock climbing spots, and historical sites to visit in Monticello and the surrounding areas. They also help visitors in finding accommodations and dining options.

With the Welcome Center open seven days a week, the resources provided are truly invaluable to visitors and locals alike.
