A firework ban is currently in effect, and a burn permit is required for large open burns.
Small recreational fires, such as regular fire pit use for roasting marshmallows or similar activities, are still permitted when safely maintained. Recreational fire pits are only allowed on private property.

The permit shall remain valid for three (3) days from the approved burn date.
